Québec City, Québec
Music-reactive pixel lighting for Québec City
Québec City is one of the snowiest cities of its size anywhere, home to a UNESCO World Heritage old town and the Carnaval de Québec. Winter is the main event, and lighting that can live through it is worth investing in.
Winter installation in Québec City
Very heavy snowfall, long cold winters, wind off the St. Lawrence and freezing rain. Snow load and snow clearing shape every installation decision.
How we install for it
- Props, enclosures and cable runs placed above the expected snow line.
- Mega trees anchored and braced for heavy snow load.
- Heritage-sensitive clip and clamp mounts on historic stone buildings, planned with your approvals.
- Cold-flexible cable; installs finished before the deep cold.
Commercial districts and BIAs in Québec City
Commercial streets, the old town, hotels and hospitality, retail centres and event venues all lean into winter. Heritage districts bring approval requirements that we build into the schedule.
When to book
Book in early summer; heritage approvals and travel need lead time.
